Seabliss Wellness Spa: Breaking the Fast

Location: 378 P. Tuazon Boulevard, Project 4, Quezon City, Philippines
Email: Seabliss.spa@gmail.com
Phone: 0917-112-8719
Landline: 2-7000-5738

A close Muslim friend suggested the place to me. After some swift research, I discovered it was not easy to find. However, Google Maps proved to be a useful tool. Being well-acquainted with Araneta Center, I chose to stroll down P. Tuazon, beginning at the famed Ali Mall. Within about 15 minutes, I arrived at Seabliss.

You’ll find it hard to overlook this building, as its striking modern architecture stands out prominently in its surroundings. Conveniently, it’s just a brief walk away from the Save More on P. Tuazon.

Note: There is a limited free parking space right in front of the building.

I had come across some reviews mentioning reception issues, so I went to the front desk with extra patience in tow. The staff there were quite welcoming and responsive to my inquiries regarding their services. The advantage of arriving shortly after opening was the minimal number of guests present, which made for a smooth transaction.

Open Monday to Thursday:
04:00 PM – 02:00 AM and Friday to Sunday:
03:00 PM – 02:00 AM

Note: The busiest hours are between 9pm to 11pm as well as on weekends. For those who prefer a quieter experience, visiting on weekdays on early opening hours is recommended.

As for the massage, I opted for the Tsunami (Signature Sensual Massage), priced at Php 1350 for an 80-minute session. They offer other treatments like the Tidal Wave and the Kraken, which come highly recommended. I’m considering trying them out in the future. They gave me an RFID wristband for the locker to carry with me.

The receptionist escorted me to the lounge area adjacent to the reception. They’ve installed a sliding door disguised by wood slats, creating an effectively concealed entrance. Quite ingenious! (Too bad, I forgot to take a photo.) The lounge itself is roomy, furnished with comfortable couches and chairs for relaxation. As I settled in, I was greeted with a complimentary drink.

The chosen palette, with its soothing blue-green hues, is a delight for the eyes, while the touches of gold add a luxurious ambiance. Blue-green na lang nasabi ko dahil hindi ako sure kung teal or turquoise ang kulay. Matanong nga si Miranda Priestly. Char!

Moving on to the locker area to get changed for the massage session. The wristband functioned as the key to my designated locker, which was stocked with a robe, towel, and slippers. It brought to mind the locker room at 27Shaw. While 27Shaw boasts a greater number of lockers, Seabliss offers more generously sized ones. In fact, they’re the most spacious I’ve seen in any spa, ample enough for a hand luggage or a carry-on. Conveniently, there is a small space at the bottom where you can tuck away your footwear.

Adjacent to the locker section is the restroom, where I was greeted by an elegant mirror and dual sinks set upon a countertop, complete with essential toiletries. A hairdryer was conveniently placed to the side. Across from this setup was the toilet cubicle.

As I made my way, I traversed the spa’s wet area, a space meriting its own narrative. The area features five cubicles, each furnished with both hot and cold showers, along with a soap dispenser. The subdued lighting within the cubicle provided a sense of privacy, although locating a spot to hang my towel was a bit of a challenge. Additionally, adjusting the shower temperature proved to be a delicate task.

Note: Seabliss uses a special shower foam designed to remove the excess massage oil on the skin after your session.

And as for the main attraction in this area, the steam room and dry sauna are both giving. Sinilip ko lang ang loob at malaki rin sila. Estimate ko kasya ang 14-20 pax na magkakadikit sa loob. Pero mamaya ko na sila gagamitin pagkatapos ng masahe.

Once I was all set, I returned to the lounge to await my appointment. Shortly after, a friendly attendant guided me upstairs to my spacious treatment room, which also featured a sizable leather massage bed. There is a digital wall clock similar to the timer that can be found in some spas like in Infinity Spa. The difference is the Seabliss version is bigger. Ewan ko ba, bakit sa Seabliss everything seems bigger? 🤭🤭🤭

To be continued.
